Secondly, the attention to detail in this hotel was superb, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was carefully taken care of. Additionally, the location of the hotel, slightly above the centre of Baume les Dames, provided a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Finally, the rooms, especially those overlooking the well-maintained garden, offered beautiful views and a comfortable stay. The rooms were charmingly decorated with modern amenities. the breakfast spread was delicious and varied each day, with freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade baked goods, and jams. the host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering to make dinner reservations for us at great local restaurants and even giving us a mini-tour of the town. Plus, the location was situated conveniently close to a popular cycling route and had a designated garage for bikes.
The location was up a steep hill, which may be difficult for some guests to walk or bike up. It would have been helpful if this was mentioned on the website to avoid any surprises.

The romantic atmosphere of our stay was enhanced by the gracious hosts, who provided local tips to enhance our experience. We enjoyed the small touches, like the fresh and locally produced breakfast and charming room decor. The location of the hotel was perfect, allowing us to explore the surrounding area.
The nearby road could be noisy at times, but this did not detract from our overall experience. we found the parking situation to be a bit inconvenient, as the designated spots were a bit of a walk away from the hotel.
